Three online dating services have been ranked in the top ten iOS apps of all time in terms of revenue, a new analytics report has revealed.
App analytics company App Annie‘s “The Most Popular iPhone and iPad Apps of All Time” report found that platforms Zoosk, Badoo and Grindr all feature in the top ten iOS apps for revenue.
Zoosk, which released its iOS app in January 2010, led out of the three, positioned at third in the table.
Badoo trailed by three places, securing sixth, and Grindr, the world’s leading gay social networking platform, took ninth place.
The dating sites are joined by Pandora Radio, Apple’s Pages, Skype and Spotify in App Annie’s new list.
The download and revenue data used for the report spans from July 2010 to July 2015.
In addition to the top ten apps for revenue, App Annie also published a list of the “Top Apps by All-Time Worldwide Downloads” from the iOS App Store.
Rather unsurprisingly, Facebook took first place whilst Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and Twitter featured below the social network giant.
On its official blog, App Annie said: “Think you know which iPhone and iPad apps topped the store’s rankings since we started tracking Apple’s wildly successful app store?
“This report is filled with global all-time top charts for you to test how well you know your history. While you’re reviewing, you can learn more about the apps and publishers that made history – and grab some ideas to help you build the next hit app.”
