German dating company Dating Cafe is partnering with online and mobile marketing business Digital Performance to further push their reach in German-speaking markets.
The Hamburg-based dating site was launched in 1998, and has over 1.5m affluent members across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
In November 2014, Dating Cafe was acquired by iVentureCapital, a VC firm that invests in young, aspiring online companies.
And now Dating Cafe is teaming up with iVentureCapital’s cornerstone company, digital marketing business Digital Performance.
Digital Performance is a Berlin-based company with over 100 employees that specialises in developing and marketing scalable, high-performance community platforms, particularly for the online dating market.
Their services include SEO, SEA, affiliate marketing and media buying.
The managing director of Dating Cafe, Marco Bollow – who runs the site alongside BjÃ¶rn Walter, said: “My team and I are very happy to cooperate with the experienced team of DigitalPerformance. We have been in the business of enabling people to find one another in these hectic times since 1998 and we’re specialists in facilitating and nurturing those first very important steps of a successful relationship.
“Teaming up with specialists in online marketing is very exciting for us and it allows us to not only make our portal more accessible with potential new business partners, but it also enables us to reach out to a larger audience and make our experience in relationship-building available to them.”
In collaboration with Digital Performance, DatingCafe.de will offer partners who want to target their wealthy 30+ customer base a revenue share model of 50% and b2b support.
Dating Cafe has won awards including as Best “SinglebÃ¶rse” by Stiftung Warentest in 2011, and recently Best “SinglebÃ¶rse” by Netzsieger and Best “Terms & Conditions and Security Standards” by the German Institute for Service Quality in 2014.
