Google Releases Website For Hangouts

googlehangoutsFor those of you who use Google Hangouts at work, you can now access the service in a new way.

Today, Google has launched a desktop version of the messaging service, which you can view at

The new site lets you message, video and audio call, along with sending files to your contacts.

In a post on Google +, Google’s Jordanna Chord said: “From our new site you’ll be able to take advantage of the best of Hangouts in the browser, along with an inspiring image to get you through the day. Check it out and let us know what you think.”

Before this, you could only access Hangouts on mobile, as a browser extension, or when logged into your Gmail account.
