Lovestruck has been ranked the 5th fastest-growing UK tech company in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50.
The London-based dating site has grown by 2,658% over the last five years, according to Deloitte.
Lovestruck is a dating service which focuses on meeting people who are close by, for a quick date.
Founded by Brett Harding and Laurence Holloway, the site caters to those who lead busy lives and find that online dating, and dating itself, can be quite time-consuming.
Harding said: “What I found is that it was very difficult to find a good match via online dating.
“So you’d end up enduring long gruelling dinners with someone that if you’d instead met more informally, for a quick coffee at lunch for example, would have ended there.”
They were the first UK site to go completely mobile, and have also had huge success forming partnerships with bars and date venues to “ghost-host” singles nights.
In the future they plan to use FaceTime to offer video date services, and to further expand in Asia – having already opened offices in Hong Kong and Singapore in 2009.
Lovestruck joins Infectious Media, Aveto, AlertMe and Monitise in the top 10 on Deloitte’s prestigious list.
