Lesbian App Dattch Among Best UK Startups

Lesbian dating app Dattch was named among the best UK startups at the Tech City News awards.

The app won Pitch of the Year and were narrowly beaten by independent cleaner-finding app Hassle for Startup of the Year.

Dattch got 12% of the votes, compared to the 15% that saw Hassle take home the award.

Dattch is an exclusively lesbian dating app based in London tailored for women by women.

Table finding company TableCrowd, car sharing site GoCarShare and social media ad startup Buzz Radar came in joint third place.

YPlan, the app which offers “the best events in town every night” and recently announced 500,000 users after one year, won Fastest Growing Startup.

150 startups entered the awards and the winners were chosen by Tech City News readers.
