Ashley Madison Promotes the Importance of Fitness in New Marketing Campaign

Infidelity website Ashley Madison has just launched a new campaign on YouTube.

The new video is titled ‘Morning Run’, and shows a woman out jogging in a residential area. As the advert progresses, it becomes clear she is actually running away from the wife of a man who she is seeing for discreet encounters.

The woman able to outpace and avoid the woman chasing after her – this is the reason she keeps fit, according to the narrator.

Ashley Madison is trying to advise cheaters that they can blend their extramarital activity with New Years’ resolutions.

Isabella Mise, Director of Communications at Ashley Madison said: “With an average increase of 8.1% in new signups between December and January over the past five years, January is a big month for infidelity on Ashley Madison. We think this video takes a tongue-and- cheek approach to how our members can incorporate New Year’s fitness goals into their overall mission of having a successful affair — that is an undiscovered affair.”

The marketing campaign was made by 5 Stranger Films to coincide with the peak January time frame when consumers are reevaluating their daily habits and fitness goals.

Ashley Madison has had over 54 million user sign ups since launching in 2002.
