Badoo CMO Talks Marketing at ad:tech London Advisory Council

Badoo CMO Gastón Tourn has interviewed at the ad:tech London advisory council in advance of his appearance at ad:tech London 2018.

In the interview, he discusses how CMOs and CTOs can encourage executives to adopt AdTech, arguing for the need to focus on the human benefits of the technology rather than industry jargon.

An approach to marketing AdTech that focused on consumer experience and talked less about cookies and back end technology would be “much better”, Tourn says, encouraging companies to focus on the ‘Why’.

The CMO notes he is excited to attend ad:tech London, and is looking forward to having discussions with other marketers.

One topic he is looking to explore will be communicating to the C-suite the need for a balanced approach to marketing, one that spans brand building and performance marketing.

Tourn will host a session at the Headline Theatre on 26th September entitled “What would Hemingway say to a marketer?”.

Other featured speakers include executives and professionals from PwC, O2, McLaren and many more.

GDI London is timed with ad:tech 2018. Buy tickets for our event here.
