Bumble Announces Second Annual ‘Glass Ceiling Awards’
Bumble has once again teamed up with Marie Claire to host the annual ‘Glass Ceiling Awards’ for inspirational women in Australia and the surrounding Asia-Pacific region.
The first instalment was held in Sydney in June 2019, but this year had to be postponed because of the pandemic. The decision has now been made to host it in a virtual setting on 9th December in order to include participants from all over the world.
It will celebrate all of the “ceiling smashers” who are paving the way for more female entrepreneurs and professionals in the future.
Tickets are completely free and the first 100 sign ups will receive a virtual gift bag, full of exclusive discounts for hundreds of different businesses and products.
Hosted by award-winning journalist Jan Fran, the event is scheduled to feature a number of high-profile guests. This includes actress and popstar Dannii Minogue, reporter Brooke Boney, and Bumble’s APAC Associate Director of PR and Communications Lucille McCart.
They will share all of the biggest life-lessons from their eventful journeys in their respective fields.
Last year, awards were offered in eight categories for individuals and whole companies. These included the Pay Equity Award, Social Conscience Award and Ceiling Smasher Award.
‘Love Etc.’, a podcast presented by Bumble, was nominated earlier this month for an Australian Podcast Award in the ‘Best Sex and Relationships’ category.
