Hinge Releases Range of Valentine’s Day Cards

Hinge has teamed up with art and design company Society6 to release a line of limited edition Valentine’s Day cards specifically targeted at millennials.

15 independent artists have created the colourful and vibrant range of 16 cards.

They are available as part of the seasonal collection on Society6’s website for $4.99 each. Customers are advised to purchase their items by the end of the 3rd February PST to guarantee delivery before Valentine’s Day.

Each design features relatable images and slogans. Some of them aim to highlight the mundane aspects of being in a couple, while still expressing strong romantic feelings.

Some examples of the cards include: “You Are My Favourite Weighted Blanket”, “Let’s Order Takeout & Makeout” and “Double Texting Means I Care”.

Hinge markets itself as being the dating app that is “Designed To Be Deleted”, so the production of these cards can be seen as an on-brand push for its users to commit to a relationship.

It recently introduced a new feedback feature called ‘We Met’ to confirm when a match had gone on a date, and to collect data on how successful dating apps actually are.

The initial results show 99% of first dates on Hinge are described as being respectful and 75% lead to a second.
