Hinge Users Can Now Share Private Details With Matches
Today, dating app Hinge launches Match Note, a feature for users to privately share details about themselves with matches before starting a conversation.
Match Notes are for aspects of oneself you might not want to share on your public profile, but you do want potential dates to know. For example, if you’re non-monogamous, sober, or recently out.
Hinge users can now add a Match Note when updating their settings. If someone has a Match Note, another user must acknowledge it in order to match (or they can decide not to match). Then, the note is automatically shared when two people Like each other.
