Muzz to Launch Salary Verification Feature
UPDATE: This story has since been confirmed to be false and a prank created by Muzz.
Muzz is a leading marriage and dating platform for the Muslim community. The platform is set to release a new feature which will allow users to verify their salary and income.
Shahzad Younas, Founder & CEO of Muzz, announced the new feature in a recent statement on LinkedIn.
The new feature will be “something no other dating/marriage app in the world has been brave enough to do”, he explained. Users will be invited to scan a copy of a recent payslip in order to have their salary and income verified on their profile.
Once verified, users will have a special badge added to their profile card so potential matches can see that their salary is truly what they say it is.“Now ladies will know you are who you say you are, and you have a real job with a real income!”, Younas added.
In addition to salary verification, the platform works with Yoti to provide selfie verification options to users. It deploys a number of safety-related features, such as user-to-user ratings, optional photo hiding, ID verification, and more.
Earlier this year, Muzz crossed the 10 million member threshold. The platform has created over 500,00 success stories so far, employing over 110 people in its business. In addition to its online platform, Muzz hosts large singles events for the Muslim community across North America & Europe.
