TALK or NOT Makes Comeback After 9 Year Hiatus
TALK or NOT, the anonymous dating app, is making a return after a 9 year hiatus. The platform originally launched in 2014, gaining popularity due to its focus on meaningful conversations as opposed to superficial swiping.
The platform works by putting users together in anonymous conversations, where photos and other details are slowly revealed as messages are exchanged.
“We always believed that the true essence of dating lies in genuine conversations,” said Britney Shawstad, Co-founder of TALK or NOT. “Our app presents an alternative to superficial judgments based solely on appearances, enabling users to engage in authentic interactions without the pressure of profile pictures.”
The team behind TALK or NOT have re-launched the app after a rebuild and redesign, now offering features such as location-based searches, age filters, and more inclusive gender preferences.
“We want people to strike up as many conversations as possible, increasing their chances of finding the perfect match,” said Shawstad. “But we also recognize that some users may seek friendships rather than romantic relationships. That’s why, this time around, we’ve introduced a ‘friends’ option to cater to a broader range of social interactions.”
The platform will be exclusively available on iOS, you can find out more here.
