The GDI Podcast: Cobble is the Genre-Defining App Helping Couples Find New Date Locations
Cobble is creating its own space in the online dating industry. The app works for friends, first time matches and long-term relationships alike, and helps couples find unique date venues in their local area.
It borrows the swipe technology from traditional mainstream dating apps and suggests numerous ideas to choose from. If both parties swipe right they make a match, and are then directed to book a time and date.
Founder Jordan Scott created Cobble as an extension of her editorial website ‘idk tonight’, which was launched in 2017 and showcases the best places for dates in New York City.
After a successful initial launch in the Big Apple, Cobble is eyeing an expansion into several other major US cities, as well as London. It employs the help of local freelancers to curate a high-quality list of all the best and undiscovered experiences, for every occasion.
Jordan appeared on The GDI Podcast to discuss her past few years in the dating sector, how the pandemic affected her launch plans, and what we can expect to see from Cobble over the next year.
