Advertising news site AdWeek has been given an exclusive look inside the Texas headquarters of the largest dating site in the world.
The office is designed to “honor all things love” throughout the building, while providing its employees with a suitable workspace.
Match.com‘s VP of Human Resources, Lisa Nelson, told the site they play their “favourite love ballads” throughout the office, and show romantic films like Casablanca and Holiday on the TV screens dotted around the office.
The gallery accompanying the article picks out some key areas of the headquarters, including the staff “Down Time” space, and its “Wall of Love” – a hallway decorated with stories of happy couples who met on the site.
Match.com recently announced that it no longer requires members to have a username when they register for an account on the dating site.
The decision to remove usernames from the site was made in an effort to get Match users to show other singles “who [they] really are”.
The Match Group has also recently appointed a new CFO ahead of its planned IPO later this year.
The company’s new CFO is Gary Swidler, who joins from Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he led the Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group.
The twenty year-old dating site currently has over 6m monthly users, and is the leading brand in InterActive Corp’s (IAC) Personals sector.
