Earlier this week, the Washington Post held its Ingenuity summit for millennial entrepreneurs, which was attended by Bumble CEO Whitney Wolfe.
At the event, Wolfe, who is one of the dating industry’s most successful females CEOs, spoke about her views on gender diversity in Silicon Valley and the wider tech industry.
In the interview, Wolfe said that the low number of women operating in the tech industry is a product of education, recalling her experience at school where science was perceived as a subject for boys.
She also explains that the key to getting more women to enter into careers in technology is to encourage their involvement from a younger age.
