This December, female-focused dating app Bumble is celebrating its first birthday, after launching at the end of last year.

The app, which notched up 100,000 downloads in the first month after its release, has reached a milestone 1m conversations, and its user base now exceeds 1m.

In its first year, CEO Whitney Wolfe added a selection features to the app, including VIBee – a verified level on the app for users who exhibit good behaviour towards their fellow daters.

To celebrate its first year, the Bumble team held a birthday party, and has since uploaded a video showing the highlights of the event.
