With the recent The Match Group IPO, the media has been keen to understand what the public offering means for the rest of the dating industry, and whether we will see other dating businesses follow suit.
On the back of the recent launch of Venntro’s startup incubator, Venntro Ventures, co-founder Steve Pammenter spoke to CNBC about the future of online dating technology and public vs private tech valuations.
Giving an insight into Venntro and White Label Dating’s business, Pammenter explains how the company is looking to further establish itself in the US and grow its presence in the coming year, which has been seen with Venntro’s PR push over the past few months, with more media appearances from its co-founders and an increased number of articles in sites like TechCrunch.
Pammenter also answers questions about Venntro’s current business model, saying that the company is likely to remain private for the time being, not pursuing a public offering like its competitor The Match Group.
