Venntro CEO Ross Williams Appears On BBC Business Live
In a new interview with BBC Business Live, the founder and chief executive of Venntro Media Group, Ross Williams, explains why his company is one of the UK’s leading dating providers.
Williams revealed that since founding the company in 2003 with his business partner Steve Pammenter, the company has managed to build itself into a business that is approaching $63m in revenue.
During the interview, Williams calls Venntro the “UK equivalent” to The Match Group, owners of Tinder, Match and OkCupid.
Venntro is responsible for providing the software used by 25,000 companies to create their own dating services, as well as its own portfolio of dating brands.
Williams also gives insights into the way the company deals with security worries, saying that Venntro employs staff to monitor and verify dating profiles all day, every day.
Last week, the UK dating provider launched its two latest platforms, anti-hookup site SomethingSerious.com and dating app Jiko.
