Bumble CEO & co-founder Whitney Wolfe was recently a guest on Forbes podcast series The Failure Factor.
The series, hosted by Megan Bruneau, looks at how failure has helped top entrepreneurs, and in the latest episode of the podcast, Whitney Wolfe reveals how the fallout from Tinder helped her to create Bumble and get to where she is today.
In the interview, Wolfe says that a fear of failure can be the “enemy of success”, holding people back and preventing them from taking the measures needed to grow and ultimately succeed.
She admits that her abrupt and somewhat public end with Tinder ultimately helped to spark her career, motivating her to develop female-focused app Bumble.
