Survey Reveals Men’s Biggest Dating Fears

Anastasia Date

A survey conducted by AnastasiaDate.com and market research firm Harris Interactive has revealed the biggest fears men have about dating.

The survey was conducted online and focused on 503 heterosexual men from the U.S. between the age of 35-55, who have a university education and an income higher than $100k.

The participants have used online dating services or intend to do so.

According to the results, 54% of the participants experience difficulty when meeting women in person.

45% admit that they cannot start a conversation, 30% become intimidated when a woman is surrounded by her friends and 10% are intimidated by their appearance.

The survey says that education is a factor: men with a better education have trouble starting conversations or approaching a woman surrounded by friends.

Lawrence Cervantes, Chief Communications Officer at AnastasiaDate.com said: “In the international dating industry, we’re seeing a worldwide trend with single dads and divorcees turning to online dating — and international dating specifically — to be the differentiating factor in their ‘second act relationships’.”

AnastasiaDate has a network of over 1000 dating agency partners in cities in Russia and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), and seeks to match up exotic and beautiful women with successful Western men.
