Loveflutter Take Paper Bag Social Experiment To New York

loveflutter

Loveflutter are taking their “paper bag” dating events to New York.

The London-based startup first held the event in London this June, with attendees wearing paper bags over their heads.

The idea is that people connect over personality, rather than just focusing on looks.

The event was held at the Science Museum, and was picked up by newspapers like The Telegraph, The Evening Standard and The Daily Mail.

Next week’s New York event is on 19th November, and will be held at the New York Hall of Science.

Daigo Smith said that they plan to focus further international expansion in the future, saying:

“The response from the tech and consumer audience Stateside has been amazing. Loveflutter’s available across the US, Canada and the UK and we see our activities across the pond integral to the future.”

The tickets cost $25, and includes four free drinks and a paper bag art-kit.
