Ashley Madison had a surge of populatiry in the UK in October, according to new data from Nielsen.
The extra marital dating site saw a huge 85% increase compared to last month, seeing a browser-based audience of 749,000, and knocking Plenty of Fish off the top spot.
However their audience only spent two minutes on the site over the month.
In comparison, Plenty of Fish’s 701,000 users spent two hours and 45 minutes on the site.
Nielsen looked at data trends throughout October in the UK, where there were 38.7m unique users over October – 60% of the entire Uk population.
This was an increase of 92,000 from the month before.
Other sites who performed well were CheekyDevil, who had a monthly increase of 261% – hitting 310,000 users.
AnastasiaDate saw an audience increase of 90%, but as with Ashley Madison, visitors only spent a short amount of time on the site – around 3 minutes.
