FROM THE WEB: Mashable Make Fun Map Of Favourite Profile Words for US States
Mashable have produced a nice little interactive map of the US, showing which words are used most in dating profiles for each state.
Match.com used their data to do an OkTrends-style analysis and breakdown of user profile information.
The IAC-owned site found “which words are used with relative frequency in certain states, as compared to relative infrequency in the rest of the country.”
The most-used words of daters from California was desert, for Texas it was oil, Tennessee daters said porch, and people from Indiana said Nascar.
