EliteSingles Announce North America Launch
EliteSingles has begun its expansion into North America, with a launch in Canada.
The German-based site is owned by Affinitas, and currently operates in territories including Europe and Australasia.
This is their first move into North America after buying back stock from eHarmony.
The Californian site owned a 30% stake in Affinitas from 2009 until May 2013.
Affinitas also owns the brands eDarling and PrestigeSingles.
EliteSingles caters to older, more affluent, singles between the ages of 30-55.
Affinitas CEO David Khalil said: “A database of like-minded singles is the starting point for introducing compatible partners.
“Successful long-term relationships are defined by partners with shared lifestyles and compatible personality traits — EliteSingles helps Cupid do his job by putting potential partners on the same path.”
The company operates in 25 countries and claim over 13m members.
