We are pleased to confirm Independent Television News (ITN) as the latest addition to our line-up of speakers for GDI’s Innovation in Online Dating Conference, London 2015.
Representing the British news provider is award-winning television news journalist Geoff White.
White is currently employed by Channel 4 News, and has a particular focus and expertise in covering areas concerning tech security, personal data, privacy and e-crime.
His previous exclusives have ranged from internet dating fraud to Russian cybercrime gangs.
Most significantly, his journalism exposed the hacking of the sensitive data of 3.9m people from AdultFriendFinder.
Outside of reporting, White is a successful public speaker and is the co-creator of The Secret Life of Your Mobile Phone, a “live, interactive phone hacking stage performance which shows how the global technology industry is harvesting the data leaking from your handset.”
White’s previous presentations have included, “How Not To Become The Next Hacking Scandal” which explores the current cybercrime sector and the way the media deals with the coverage of acts of corporate computer crime – an issue that is extremely relevant in the wake of the Ashley Madison hack.
