We are very pleased to announce that Global Dating Insights is now an Associate of the Online Dating Association.
Being an ODA Associate helps to strengthen the industry body’s capacity and capability to speak for the sector and help protect and grow a healthy market.
Speaking about the new relationship, the founder of GDI, Simon Corbett said: “The ODA has taken great strides forwards since it launched, and we are proud to become a formal Associate. Any organisation that promotes the online dating industry and the safety and security of its customers is warmly welcomed by Global Dating Insights.”
The ODA was formed back in 2013 by a number of industry players who saw the need for the industry to step up and take responsibility for setting and maintaining standards.
Dating companies that are members of the ODA include eHarmony, Match.com, Christian Connection, Lovestruck and Dating Factory.
Speaking about GDI becoming a member, ODA chief executive George Kidd said: “We welcome Global Dating Insights as an ODA Associate. GDI has supported the ODA from our early days, helping us promote our roles and goals.
“Alongside their news and alerts GDI has taken a lead in producing new analysis on issues of importance and share interest, most obviously those on carrier billing and scam trends.
“This and the ODA work with Inline Policy on the “Dating on the Move” report demonstrate the thinking going into dating in a mobile-centric world. It will add to our relevance and credibility with mobile carriers, payment intermediaries and others.”
