Watch Awkward Google Glass First Dates In New Guardian Series

googleglassguardian

Ever wanted to be a fly on the wall for an awkward date? If so, The Guardian have answered your prayers with new video series Watch Me Date, where two singles both wear Google Glass on their first date.

Once a week, The Guardian send two singles off on a date, with the promise free food and booze, and film their entire date, from first meeting, to final goodbye.

The series opens in an amusing and cringey style, with 29-year-old Sarah who works in music PR and is looking for a man with good trainers, and Ian, 29, who works in digital marketing, hates trainers, and regularly Instagrams selfies of himself when Sarah goes to the toilet.

Check out the first episode below, and look out for the full series here.
