A new interview with the recently reinstated CEO of Tinder, Sean Rad, has shown a more personal side to the man behind today’s most notorious dating app.
Speaking to Charlotte Edwardes in the Evening Standard, Rad reveals some intimate details about subjects we don’t usually hear him talk about, including his early years, his relationship with his mum, and his own love life.
Describing Rad as “disarmingly frank and rather charming”, Edwardes tells how Rad admits to being addicted to Tinder, but has only been in four serious relationships.
Rad also shares his thoughts about the recent Vanity Fair article, which named Tinder as the cause of the “dawn of the dating apocalypse”, and accused the app of promoting hookup culture.
