Cupid have partnered with mobile search company Sprylogics to allow their users to plan and book events in-app.
Edinburgh-based Cupid will be integrating their mobile app with Sprylogics’s Poynt-Enabled SDK feature.
This allows users to find, discuss and book activities in their local area, all within the app.
Marvin Igelman, CEO of Sprylogics, said: “We’re delighted to partner with Cupid, a leader in the online dating market.
“Online dating, like other segments, where planning and coordinating between users is done via our search and share functionality; or where monetization of local search is a priority, is a perfect fit for our Poynt-Enabled SDK.
“Our technology facilitates these capabilities without leaving the app.”
Sprylogics bought the Calgary-based app Poynt in August 2013, for around $2.5m.
Poynt has also been made available for Kindle Fire tablets.
