Christian Connection acquires ChristianSingleMix.com

Christian Connection, the UK’s largest Christian dating site, has announced that it has acquired ChristianSingleMix.com.

Christian Single Mix was founded in 2012 by Chris Kapnisis and Rod Keane, leaders of a church and community center in Essex.

The site partnered with church pastors and singles ministries to provide support and encouragement to single Christians in the region.

It quickly developed a reputation as an authentic site where Christians could meet other singles who shared their faith.

Joff Williams, communications director at Christian Connection said: “Christian Single Mix shares many of our own founding principles and so we are pleased to welcome their members, from one authentic Christian site to another, at what is our busiest time of year.”

The acquisition comes shortly after Christian Connection launched a new iPhone app. The new platform has helped the site to grow rapidly in the past few months.

Christian Connection say the move will help consolidate their position as the leading Christian dating site in the UK.

Elsewhere in the Christian niche, Spark Networks are looking to revivify the US brand Christian Mingle.

The group migrated Christian Mingle to a new tech platform in September, and will look to implement performance marketing techniques to grow the site in 2018.
