Cupid Adds Tinder-Style “Like” Game & Improved Safety Features In New Update update has just added a host of new features to its mobile app designed to make users’ experience of finding a partner on the platform safer and easier.

The UK-based dating company has launched the latest version of its dating app as part of its recent rebrand that saw the site debut an updated design and its new company slogan -“Real People. Real Feelings.”

In an effort to make its matching process more entertaining, Cupid has added a new Tinder-style game to the app that allows singles to like the profiles of other users, as well as receive notifications when others like their own profile.

According to the company, the game – called Likebook – uses the individual preferences of each user to suggest potential matches, ensuring they will be shown the profiles of people they are interested in.
The app now also features another game-like feature that lets singles invite others to take a quiz in order to get to know one another, helping them find mutual interests and spark longer conversations.

Its new “Q-Matching” function lets users select quizzes from seven different topic areas, each containing questions that aim to give insight into each user’s personality, helping members make better informed matches based on their answers.

Cupid users can also access their very own in-app assistant, known as Wingman Barney, which will answer any questions they have about relationships and dating in an effort to improve their success on the app.

Using a combination of a computer algorithm and relationship expertise, Wingman Barney offers advice and helps users make conversation with the people they are interested in.

Cupid adds Safe Mode to improve security

In addition to these new entertainment features, Cupid has also stepped up its in-app security measures, adding a “Safe Mode” that lets users opt-in to only be contacted by verified users.

The app now has an anti-scamming system that allows users to report any suspicious activities to the site administrator, which the company says helps to ensure “a safe, scam-free experience”.

This week, week also released its new reality show, “Real People. Real Feelings.” on social media, which aims to portray the reality of relationships in a unique format.

The show sees two couples sharing real accounts and insights into their relationships and social lives, using popular platforms like Twitter, Instagram & Facebook, as well as’s official blog, to do so.
