Location Dating App Mint Has Reached 1M Users

Location dating app, Mint, has recently reached 1m users.

Mint is a dating app used for chatting and meeting new people nearby.

The app launched one and a half years ago for iOS and a few months later for Android, and it recently announced that it has 100k new users every month.

Mint lets users log in with Facebook to know they are real, and enables them to like or start a chat with any person – you don’t need a match.

Mint’s founder, Klavs Sinka said: “We offer registration via Facebook only and have a thorough moderation system in place, making sure there are no fake profiles in our app.

“This means – we are celebrating 1 million real users, which is a great milestone for a pretty new dating app in tough market conditions.”

The dating app has recently been mentioned in Forbes as one of Top 30 Baltic Startups To Watch In 2017 and has been expanding the most in Western Europe.

Sinka commented on the market: “It’s a favorable market to grow, 4-8% of active users choosing to subscribe to our Premium subscription.

“We see strong revenue growth of 30%+ per month and plan to reach $10 million run rate by the end of 2018.”
