The Inner Circle is hosting a ‘Chase the Summer’ singles event at Battersea Park in London tomorrow.
Attendees, who register for free, will be treated to a traditional British summer party. There will be food and drink available, along with music throughout the day from DJ Dom Booth.
The selective dating app has also hinted that a live surprise will provide “serious summer vibes”.
Singles can look forward to ice-breaker activities at the picturesque lakeside terrace, where they can find a new match and win a variety of prizes. According to research from The Inner Circle, half of UK singles think the park is the most romantic place to meet someone new during summer.
CEO David Vermeulen said in a statement: “Summer is the season of love. It’s a time to get outdoors and be more spontaneous. So, pack a picnic basket, a bottle of wine and take that special someone to a romantic date in the park.”
The Inner Circle surveyed 4,600 singles and found that 88% of them are actively looking for love this season.
They also uncovered some of the most common turn-offs associated with the warmer weather. 57% of respondents thought smelly feet were a major turn-off, while a large number of women said men going topless was not attractive.
The Inner Circle will be appearing at the GDI London Conference taking place in September this year.
