Tinder Encourages Young Voters with ‘Rock the Vote’

Tinder has entered into a second collaboration with ‘Rock the Vote’, looking to encourage young users to engage with politics in the USA.

The dating leader will share political trivia with American users. An example fact reads: “The average American is twenty years younger than their congressional representative.”

Rock the Vote has released a Tinder-branded video inspired by late 20th century ‘Schoolhouse Rock!’ cartoons to accompany the campaign.

The Rock The Vote website can be used to register to vote. Tinder users enter their ZIP code to begin the process.

Facebook, Snapchat and Reddit are among the other platforms to encourage their users to vote.

Today, it was also announced that Tinder will be trialling a new feature that offers similar functionality to Bumble in India.

The ‘My Move’ feature is a toggle female users can use which enables them to be the only ones to start conversations with matches.
