Tinder’s Festival Mode Launches For Festival X in Australia

Tinder has created a new Festival Mode badge for attendees of Festival X, Australia’s newest multi-venue music event.

A branded card inside the app will give users the chance to add a sticker to their profile if they have tickets to one of the three Australian dates, which fall between 29th November and 1st December in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

The mode is designed to help singles connect with other festival-goers before they arrive at the venue.

Another benefit of having the badge is access to exclusive “Tinder Fast Lanes”, VIP bar queues that allow people to “spend less time waiting and more time dancing”.

A related competition is being run on the Festival X Instagram page. Winners, along with three of their friends, get to watch acts such as Calvin Harris, Armin Van Buuren and Lil Pump from the top of “Tinder Tower”, giving them an exclusive vantage point above the rest of the crowd.

To enter, users simply need to come up with their best festival-themed Tinder bio in 25 words or less.

Festival X is also taking place in Auckland, New Zealand on 28th November, but the Tinder benefits aren’t available to people going on this day.

The mode was launched in India last week, with the first activation set to be at the NH7 Weekend in Pune on 29th November.
