Unpack’d Technologies Partners with UrSafe
Dating app developer Unpack’d Technologies has formed a strategic partnership with personal safety platform UrSafe. Users on dating apps DiHola and Say Allo will now have access to a range of personal safety tools including real-time location sharing and more.
The dating app developers shared that users of the dating apps will have a range of safety features available to them, thanks to this new partnership. Features include voice activated safe words that discreetly alert law enforcement, friends, and family when a user feels endangered.
DiHola is seeing significant growth in Latin America, with the platform nearing 500,000 downloads. Say Allo continues to grow across the US, Canada, and India. As the pandemic comes to a close, these platforms are preparing for IRL dating to return in full force.
“We are thrilled to partner with UrSafe to prioritize the safety and well-being of our community of users,” said Zackary Lewis, CEO of Unpack’d Technologies.
“Our mission is to create a positive and secure dating experience, where individuals can forge meaningful connections. By incorporating UrSafe’s advanced personal safety technology, we provide DiHola and Say Allo users with additional protection and peace of mind when taking the next logical step to meet IRL”, he continued.
Anthony Oyogoa, Co-Founder of UrSafe, elaborated further saying, “Partnering with Unpack’d Technologies is a natural fit for our mission to enhance personal safety. Through our expansive offering of personal safety tools and strategic partnership with RealMe, we are redefining the standards of safety and security for the millions of single adults using dating apps worldwide to make it a safer space for all, which now includes DiHola and Say Allo”.
Unpack’d Technologies shared that 53% of US adults under 30 use dating apps, according to Pew Research Studies. Among this group, 48% say safety is a concern, and this new partnership looks to address that, they added.
Looking ahead, Unpack’d Technologies stated that it is “ committed to creating a safe environment for its growing community of users throughout the U.S., Latin America, and S. Asia, and plans to release several new “safedating” features in the months ahead”.
