XFun Adopts New Safety Features
Hookup app XFun has added new safety features to provide users with an improved experience on the platform. It now enables users to share feedback about one another and has tightened its registration process.
In a recent statement, XFun shared that it has adopted a new feature which evaluates profiles based on “user feedback and behavioural analysis”. If anything suspicious is detected, XFun will alert the users interacting with the suspicious profile.
This is part of the platform’s ongoing mission in “ramping up measures to help protect users from false information, scams, and harassment”.
Additionally, XFun shared that it has adopted an enhanced authentication mechanism which will help ensure users are actually real people. The platform’s website shares that 50% of its members have their profile photos verified.
“We have always been committed to providing a safe and efficient online dating platform. The newly launched features are another step in our commitment to this goal. We hope that with these new tools and mechanisms, our users will feel more comfortable using our services and enjoy real, risk-free online dating”, shared the CEO of the XFun app.
While platforms have a part to play in user safety, the daters themselves should also remain vigilant of online harms in order to protect themselves too, the CEO added.
XFun, which specialises in hookups and ‘no-strings-attached’ relationships, allows users to filter through potential matches and create meetups for IRL connections.
