With Ashley Madison on the comeback trial, its new management team recently sat down with The Guardian to talk about how they are trying to salvage the damaged brand.
Rob Segal and James Millership both joined Ashley Madison from Toronto-based World Gaming, where Segal was CEO for over five years and Millership was both COO and CFO.
In the Guardian interview, the new Ashley Madison execs talk about imagining the brand as “Lindsay Lohan” in that “people are interested in her good and bad.”
They also say that when the opportunity arose, they both talked over the offer with their respective partners, saying: “It was obviously something we discussed.”
With Avid Life Media renamed to Ruby, and Ashley Madison given a less “in your face” makeover, Segal & Millership also talk about their plans for the future, dropping its USP of extramarital affairs.
