AdultFriendFinder to Live Stream Weddings During Isolation Period
AdultFriendFinder is offering couples the opportunity to have their weddings streamed online.
The adult entertainment and dating website gives engaged couples the opportunity to exchange nuptials in front of their family, friends and loved ones while still social distancing. Couples can stream their weddings from their own homes (or other private locations) in 4K and 1080p.
Jon Buckheit, FriendFinder Networks CEO, said to Newsweek: “There’s been a big increase in video chat and video streaming, and that’s something that we’ve always offered on the site. So we have the technology to do it, and we thought that we should offer [to stream weddings] at no charge to people who want to use our site for that purpose at this time.
“We appreciate the many years of patronage the public have given us on our site, on AdultFriendFinder, and this is just our way of saying thank you during a difficult time for people who want to take advantage of it.”
Whilst many governing bodies worldwide are outlawing mass gatherings and celebrations, with countries being thrown into total lockdown, AdultFriendFinder are in fact encouraging people not to cancel their events, but make them virtual.
This will allow the best of both worlds: celebrations can still take place, but isolation can still be observed.
Any couples looking to stream their wedding on the site, need to email weddings@ffn.com.
Earlier today, the Online Dating Association released its advice to help online daters navigate this difficult period of isolation. It suggested that singles used live stream and video services to replicate a physical interaction.
