HubStars Becomes Latest ODA Member

HubStars, one of the industry’s leading white label dating services, has become the newest member of the Online Dating Association (ODA).

The ODA looks to help the dating sector speak with one voice to regulators, law enforcement agencies and other key stakeholders. By joining the organisation, HubStars has committed to ensuring its users have a quality and secure dating experience.

George Kidd, Chief Executive of the ODA, said in a statement: “As a white label technology partner offering a number of dating services, Hub adds to the range and scale of services represented by the ODA.

“And, given their own description of their headquarters ‘the lovely but a bit damp Isle of Man, a small island in the Irish Sea’ we can consider this a further, if small, step in our internationalisation.”

After launching its ‘Safety First’ creative campaign at the beginning of the year, the ODA has been looking to make more of an impact in markets outside of the UK.

It is especially targeting North America and welcomed the San Francisco-based Spectrum Labs as an associate in March.

Owner of HubStars Michael O’Sullivan added: “We are delighted to join the ODA today. We believe passionately in its mission to enhance the experience of the dating customer and in guiding and elevating best practice within the industry.”

HubStars recently launched its ‘Million Dollar Dating Project’, an initiative that will see it investing in several niche startups to help them launch a professional dating platform. Applications are currently open but are scheduled to close on 31st May.
