Matrimony.com Announces Site for IT Professionals

Matrimony.com, the Indian online matchmaking platform, has announced an exclusive new area for IT professionals to connect. The company shared that of the 4.85 million IT professionals in India, 1.2 to 1.8 million are unmarried. 

The new site, called techiematrimony.com, will help IT and software professionals to find a suitable match from the same industry. Techiematrimony will be available as an app on Android and iOS platforms, wrote ThePrint.

“Over the years, we have been studying this segment of users and have understood that increasingly they too, like doctors, like to match with someone from the same profession because of shared lifestyle, work-life balance,” said Arjun Bhatia, Chief Marketing Officer of Matrimony.com.

“Matrimony.com’s success has been its micro-market segmentation and our profession-based services like Doctors Matrimony, IIM-IIT Matrimony, and Defence Matrimony are already doing well,” he added.
