The owner of matchmaking platforms C-date and be2 has partnered with SecurionPay to power its payments.

The dating services are owned by Swiss company Online Personal Group AG.

And both C-date and be2, which are focused on the DACH region, will now use SecurionPay for payments, enabling singles to buy extra add-on features with one-click payments.

Thomas Pappas, Director of Corporate Development for Online Personal Group AG said: “Finding the proper payment solution is going to be more of the challenge, and it’s not only because of our business model.

“We need to answer to what customers expect. They want dating service to be available everywhere, through various devices.

“That’s why we were looking for a solution that will enable us to accept online and mobile payments without any interruptions or redirects.”

Online Personal Group AG joins other dating companies like Dateyard, HubPeople, Dateronix and Adultspace in partnering with SecurionPay.

SecurionPay is a cross-device, online and mobile payment gateway that focuses on security and flexibility, specifically tailoring its solution for low, medium and high-risk industries.

Its payment technology helps companies increase sales by delivering a smooth payment experience that can be tailored for a variety of billing options, offers one-click purchases and minimises chargebacks with non-evasive 3D secure tools.

Lucas Jankowiak, SecurionPay CEO said: “SecurionPay has always considered the dating industry as high priority, and we still continue delivering the best payment solution to this industry.

“We’re thrilled that another big player, C-date, is choosing our payment platform for their dating services.”
