The Inner Circle has announced the addition of a new Global PR Manager in Crystal Cansdale, formerly a Senior Press Officer at TopCashback UK.
Cansdale joins the dating startup to take the lead on an ambitious PR strategy, heading up the in-house publicity efforts for new territory launches around the world.
She will also collaborate with the brand’s retained agency, the London-based Milk & Honey PR.
The new hire has additional experience at The Octopus Group, an agency which deals primarily with technology and professional services brands, and at Clarion Communications, who help firms including Dollar Shave Club, Unilever and Aldi in their PR efforts.
The Inner Circle is fresh off the back of a busy summer, having hosted high-class singles events everywhere from Sydney to Sao Paulo over the past few weeks.
Earlier this month, Global Event & Experience Marketing Manager Oceane Krügel spoke to Rentuu about some of the challenges she faces setting up events abroad.
“The main challenge is to make sure we address demand correctly,” said Krügel.
“Each country has its own culture and habits. Therefore it is crucial to respect these in order to give all chances to your event to be successful.”
CEO David Vermeulen is set to appear at the 2019 edition of the GDI London Dating Conference, taking place Thursday 26 September at the 5* Leonardo Royal Hotel, St Paul’s.
