Leaked Screenshots Hint at European Release for Facebook Dating
A number of leaked screenshots have revealed that Facebook Dating might be targeting the European market soon.
Gratis Dating Tips, an online dating review website based in The Netherlands, received the images which appear to show the user interface translated into Dutch and French.

Coupled with the tentative roll-out of the dating platform so far, this might suggest that Facebook is planning to initially enter Belgium, where both languages are spoken, rather than a continent-wide release.
Facebook Dating was first announced at the F8 Conference in May 2018, before starting to test in Colombia toward the end of September. Since being launched in Canada and Thailand a little over a month later, not much has been heard from the developers about the continued release plan.

Despite receiving a substantial hit after the news first broke, Match Group has noted that Tinder’s usage rates have not been significantly impacted in these three markets.
Trusted tech tipster Jane Manchung Wong reported users would be able to share their live location with selected friends as an added safety feature when going on a first date.
It was revealed last week that Chief Product Officer Chris Cox will be leaving the company. His work on the development of Facebook Dating earned him a spot in the GDI Power Book 2019.
