Fast-Track Dating Site Celebrates First Wedding

Just Ask Me Out

Fast-track dating site Justaskmeout.com is celebrating its first marriage, just 9 months after their launch.

The London-based company describes itself as a “no-nonsense” approach to dating, by cutting out many of the game-playing features on other sites.

The user simply browses through profiles, finds someone they like, and asks them out – no emailing or messaging involved.

And now the company is celebrating the marriage of London couple Nadia and David, exactly 6 months after they met on the site.

David, 37, from Aldgate, said: “If it weren’t for Justaskmeout, I’d have spent ages emailing back and forth before having the courage to actually ask Nadia out.

“Whereas Justaskmeout made it ok to ask her out straight away and we were off!”

Speaking of the site’s fast-track and direct dating strategy, Founder and Managing Director Alex Rowley said: “Justaskmeout is for busy people who haven’t got the time or inclination to mess about online with winks and such nonsense.

“Our members are serious about meeting someone special and they see that the best way of doing this is to ask people out and get out there meeting people, rather than wasting time behind a computer screen.”

Rowley, 32, founded the site while at Deloitte, following a Masters at Oxford in Psychology and Philosophy.

Single and frustrated with the time-consuming and game-playing nature of most sites, the idea for Justaskmeout.com was born and she quit her job 3 months later.

The site was launched by Rowley, with technical development from Marc Warne of Gigatux, in January 2012.

The site is free to join, with subscriptions starting from £5, and is currently only based in and around London, but there are plans to expand to other cities.

They are also offering, until the end of September, a free 3 months Gold membership trial.
