Over the past year, Tinder has become a popular advertising platform for companies to promote new products, campaigns and most recently, job openings.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the latest company to add an advert to the dating app, to announce it is recruiting a number of new engineers.
Like most other Tinder ad campaigns, AWS has created a profile on the app, for Amazononian, aged 30.
The ad has a company logo, a short description about the engineer job openings, and an email address for candidates to send applications to.
It reads: “This is not a Scam, we are actually from AWS Recruiting trying out this method To find top Engineering Talent.
“Please swipe right if you are open to learning more about Engineer positions as AWS!”
Companies who have previously used Tinder to advertise this year include McDonalds, Wow Air and Calvin Klein, who rolled out a number of video ads as part of its #mycalvins campaign.
Tinder recently released a number of new updates to the product, including the addition of job and education information to profiles and the introduction of Smart Profiles.
The new profiles will dynamically highlight the most relevant information about a potential match.
